'Silver Rider' encased in a shell of crusted sand. From the 'tVliegent Hart (Flying Heart), an armed merchantman of the VOC bound for Batavia which sank shortly out of port at Vlissingen, Holland on 3/2/1735 with no survivors. These .917 fine Ducatoons were smuggled aboard, as their export to the Indies was illegal. Shown is the gray 'cookie' you will receive. Also shown is a piece I removed from its shell and cleaned with silver dip and a wire brush. The surface is quite pitted.
